UG speaker at the WIRE Conference

The Week of Innovative Regions in Europe (WIRE) is the main European policy forum for innovation on the regional level. The conference provides a platform for policymakers, public authorities, knowledge centres and enterprises to discuss research and innovation (R&I) practices, challenges and opportunities throughout the European regions, with a direct view on the current and future EU funding programmes.

It will be held from 4th till 6th November and the host is the University of Split. This year due to the exceptional circumstances (COVID-19), the event will be organised online, free of charge. SEA-EU experts have been invited to speak at a session titled Building a vision for future research and innovation in the blue economy. Among other experts, Hanna Łądkowska from the Institute of Oceanography at University of Gdańsk will speak about the subject.
