INDEPTH project meeting

We are pleased to announce that on June 9-11th, we will host Partners of the international research project INDEPTH | The Limits of Life: Diversity, Adaptation Strategies and the Bioprospecting of Microbes Living in the Arctic deep-sea habitats.

 

The meeting participants include the research team of Prof. Ida Helene Steen from the Deep-Sea Research Center at the University of Bergen, the Norwegian partner of the project, and Polish partners from the University of Warsaw and the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań.

 

The meeting is organized by  Dr. Anna-Karina Kaczorowska from the Collection of Plasmids and Microbes and Prof. Tadeusz Kaczorowski from the Laboratory of Extremophiles Biology at the Department of Microbiology, the Project Leader.

 

The INDEPTH project received funding of EUR 1.5 million from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism under the GRIEG program.
